Narrative:

On 07/20/2017 at approximately 7:30 PM McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office investigators responded to the area of 42ND ST NW and 148th T Ave NW in response to information that was received during the investigation into the drive by shooting that occurred in Williston on the morning of July 18, 2017 by investigators in Williston.  

A deceased female was found who was decomposed in a tree row in the area.  The female has been initially identified as Lindsay White and her family has been notified.  Given the condition of the body when it was found the identity is still being positively identified.  

This death is being investigated as a homicide, however there is no danger to the public at this time as the primary suspect Jonah Hendricks was found dead by investigators in Williston when they were conducting a search warrant. This is however an open and ongoing investigation.
