The
McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for one (1) opening
in the Administrative Division for the position of 24/7 Specialist. The 24/7 Specialist is assigned to the Administrative
Division and is under general supervision and shall exercise responsibilities
for the daily operations of the 24/7 program. Exercise independent judgment in
dealing with unusual situations while exercising safe practices and procedures.
Works in a stressful, fast paced office environment including public relations
with 24/7 program participants. Reports to the Administrative Sergeant and works
under the direction of the Administrative Sergeant to provide a safe, efficient
and effective 24/7 program. This position requires a work schedule of,
Monday-Friday 0800-1630. Level and salary commensurate with experience.

Essential
Job Functions• Maintains records for monthly payments due to
the Attorney General’s office
• Tracks refunds of overpayments by program
participants
• Order necessary supplies for drug patches, UA
kits, PBT tubes
• Perform and record calibrations of the PBT
machine
• Maintain inventory of scram bracelets and base
stations
• Communicate with the BCI 24/7 office regularly
• Coordinate with the Clerk of Courts, States
Attorney office, probation and parole officers
• Perform finger printing processes
• Obtain and track court papers related to drug
monitoring patches, UA testing, PBT Alcohol testing, and Scram alcohol
monitoring
• Update 24/7 website with participants, results
• Place drug patches on individuals, schedule
removal appointments
• Issue violation papers as needed
• Sex Offender Registration and program
monitoring
• Sex Offender compliance checks
• Testify in Court as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal
and ethical standards in all activities
• Other duties as assigned for business needs
• May be assigned to perform other
administrative duties
Knowledge

Minimum
Qualifications• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-year experience in a law enforcement
environment preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft office products,
specifically Excel
• Highly organized
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Associate's degree or higher preferred
• Must be able to report to Watford City, ND
daily at required schedule time
• Extensive knowledge of computers, computer
programs, scanning equipment and various other office machines
• Organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Must be a self-starter and goal oriented

interruptions, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and
