A communication tech with McKenzie County

community members. Starting salary for applicants is $27.27 per hour
($59,558.00 annually), depending on experience. The McKenzie County

Job
Description:
This position is responsible for
receiving and disseminating emergency and non-emergency telephone calls
along with dispatching the appropriate responding personnel using a radio
system. There is also general administrative work as well as data entry.
Essential
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Receive
incoming telephone calls for law enforcement from all areas within
McKenzie County
- Route
calls to the proper authority
- Track
units and maintain cognizant knowledge of all field units as to their status
and location
- Monitor,
receive, and broadcast calls on multiple radio frequencies and dispatch
required units according to established procedures
- Relay
information and messages to field personnel as required

to receive North Dakota Criminal Justice Informational System (ND CJ
certification and National Crime Information Center (NCIC) certification
upon employment.
