The Training Unit provides deputies with specialized and continual training. Our officers collectively receive thousands of hours of training annually. Each deputy is required by ND POST to receive 60 hours of training every 3 years. The unit schedules all aspects of training, maintains officer training records and conducts annual firearms training.
