The Truck Enforcement Division has many programs to enhance commercial motor vehicle safety:
- Size and Weight Enforcement
- Permitting and the E-permits system
The Truck Enforcement Sergeant oversees day-to-day activities of the truck enforcement division.
Division goals include:
- Reducing commercial vehicle crashes by conducting commercial vehicle inspections, safety audits, compliance reviews, and verifying the permit system.
- Protecting county infrastructure through size and weight enforcement and permitting overweight/over-dimensional load movements.
